List of Things I Still Have to Watch

I have a lot of things that I have yet to watch. ┬áNot just anime, but also movies and some TV series that are squatting at my hard drive wasting precious GBs. Since my watching pace have more or less slowed down because of my regular job, I haven’t got the chance to marathon anything. I usually watch an episode or two from two (if I come home early I can usually sneak in an episode from another series) series per day. I just want to show how much I have yet to finish and those that I haven’t started yet. It’s also nice since this might be future shows that I would review (maybe). If there are shows in the list that you would like to see me review or hear my thoughts about it, I’m willing to look it up to and bump it to my priority list (though I doubt it since I’m not the most popular kid in the block)!

Anime Review: True Tears Made Me Cry Tears of Frustration

If I could cry for every screw-up the characters did, I’d be flooding my place right now.

I’ve been mostly appreciative of P.A. Works, this season I’m quite a fan of Uchouten Kazoku but I liked their other works, too. Another was a decent thriller/mystery anime (some say it’s horror, I say it’s more suspense); Angel Beats hold a special place in my heart (despite being an okay show) as the anime that made me watch anime again in college; and I have mixed feelings with Canaan and Hanasaku Iroha. I figured I’d watch another show from the studio because I’m a big fan of their animation. So, I took a shot with True Tears, since I would rather watch something new rather than continuing Red Data Girl which I dropped.

Anime Summer 2013 First Impressions

Though I did put a list of the anime I’m going to watch for this season (check it here), I still watched some of the anime that were not included in the list. Some animes can only be fully enjoyed or appreciated by watching an episode or two, so I always take a look and see if I might find something that can pique my interests.

Studio Spotlight: My Top 5 Ghibli Films

This one here is Totoro

Alright, this is the second part of my Studio Spotlight where I rank my top 5 films from a particular studio. Like I said from my previous post, I’m going to feature Studio Ghibli. This studio is another one of my favorites and I mostly stumbled on its movies because of my aunt who lent me a DVD (or was it VCD, I don’t know) of some Ghibli films. I have to say it was love at first sight for me.

Overview of the Summer 2013 Anime Roster

My excitement level for next season

After the previous Anime Roundup for Spring 2013, I think it’s high time to look forward to some of the shows for Summer 2013. Though personally, I feel like there isn’t that much to look forward to next season’s roster.

Hello hello! This is the final part of Anime Roundup: Spring 2013. Parts 1 and 2 discussed the shows that were kind of a let down and those that were consistently good, respectively. The final part is The Wildcards! Basically, shows that were actually quite enjoyable despite very evident flaws or those without considerable hype.

Anime Roundup: Spring 2013 The Consistently Good

Second part of my review for the Spring 2013 anime roster. The previous post discussed the show that didn’t quite meet expectations. Today, I’ll show the shows that met expectations and were quite consistent in quality throughout the season.

Anime Roundup: Spring 2013 The Letdowns

This is Anime Roundup! Here I summarize the Spring 2013 anime roster, what was disappointing, what was consistently good, and what was surprisingly enjoying. Most are nearing their end, others have ended–but if you haven’t watch a single one from this season, then read along to find out which is worth the watch! This review would be in three parts: mainly The Letdowns, The Consistently Good, and The Wildcards.
