List of Things I Still Have to Watch

I have a lot of things that I have yet to watch.  Not just anime, but also movies and some TV series that are squatting at my hard drive wasting precious GBs. Since my watching pace have more or less slowed down because of my regular job, I haven’t got the chance to marathon anything. I usually watch an episode or two from two (if I come home early I can usually sneak in an episode from another series) series per day. I just want to show how much I have yet to finish and those that I haven’t started yet. It’s also nice since this might be future shows that I would review (maybe). If there are shows in the list that you would like to see me review or hear my thoughts about it, I’m willing to look it up to and bump it to my priority list (though I doubt it since I’m not the most popular kid in the block)!

Studio Spotlight: My Top 5 Pixar Films

Studio Spotlight is where I check out a particular studio’s movies and show my top 5 favorite among them. For this particular series, I would be spotlighting two studios I’m quite fond of which is Pixar Studios and Studio Ghibli.

Today the spotlight goes to Pixar, one of the most well-known animation studios out there. Pixar is somewhat close to my childhood (and adulthood) and like many kids, grew up following almost all of the  films.

Movie Dump: A Review of Norwegian Wood

Nope, not the song of the same name by the Beatles, but it is somewhat recurring in the movie. Norwegian Wood is based on the Japanese novel by Haruki Murakami, and is by far, one of my most favorite. I watched this a year ago, but with a horrible audio, video, and subtitle quality (seriously the subtitles disappear in some scenes and the grammar is horrendous). I got a better copy, so I decided to watch it again.

Do We Need A Justice League Movie?

With the release of Man of Steel, most people found it inevitable…Justice League is the goal for the DCU (DC Cinematic Universe). When the Avengers was shown in the big screen, it showed that a superhero team is indeed possible to be a blockbuster hit. Now, its counterpart, the Justice League, is still leagues away from being adapted. But, do we need a Justice League Movie?

Movie Dump: Oz the Great and Powerful

Oz is one lucky guy. He got all the…witches.

Okay, I didn’t really mean to watch Oz since I was just finishing a lot of anime in my pull list (thank the gods that Oregairu, Hataraku, and Valvrave just finished). Anyway, I wanted to take a break and what better way to do it than to watch something that’s been sitting in my computer for weeks.

Movie Dump: A Review of World War Z

Hi! I’m back! It’s been a long time since I last blogged–I was kinda busy on a lot of stuff the past couple of months with my thesis, graduation, bumming around, and job hunting. Anyway, enough about that! Today, I review World War Z, starring Brad Pitt and loosely based on Max Brooks’ novel. There might be minor spoilers ahead, so do watch out.

Movie Dump: A Review of Jack the Giant Slayer

I wanted to make this review ever since I was able to attend the advanced screening of Jack the Giant Slayer. However, because of reasons like, this blog never existed yet when I watched the screening and I was too lazy to make a blog, I was never really able to write it. However, when I overhead how people have been wanting to watch this movie, I wasn’t able to resist. If you don’t mind some minor spoilers, then read ahead.
