Webcomic Review: Ketchup Ninja

While technically an interactive comic, I decided to categorize it as a webcomic since I viewed it at that format. It was made by Japanese artist Daromeon, so it can also be called a manga. While the categorization can be quite confusing, and the true elitist would insist that manga are different from comics despite the fact that a manga is a type of comic. Though to be sure, I categorized this one in Comics and Manga. So, yeah. Ketchup Ninja everybody!

I Like Comics, Though Not Necessarily Marvel/DC

“You read comics? Cool! Do you know that guy who fought Superman with a flying sundae cone and unicorns? He’s the most awesome villain ever, right?!”

Whenever people get to know that I read comics, I’m more often than not asked with, “Marvel or DC?“. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I particularly hate Marvel or DC. In fact, when comics are brought up, it’s almost the first two things that can be associated with it. It’s almost a given fact that most of the time, when people say comics, it means superhero comics.

Do We Need A Justice League Movie?

With the release of Man of Steel, most people found it inevitable…Justice League is the goal for the DCU (DC Cinematic Universe). When the Avengers was shown in the big screen, it showed that a superhero team is indeed possible to be a blockbuster hit. Now, its counterpart, the Justice League, is still leagues away from being adapted. But, do we need a Justice League Movie?
